The Middle East's largest private luxury developer, DAMAC Properties, will represent Arabia in the International Property Awards after its luxury Beirut project 'DAMAC Tower' won two prestigious accolades in the regional competition. DAMAC Tower is a landmark collaboration with Versace Home in Lebanon, and will now compete against property developers from the Asia Pacific, the UK, the Americas, Europe and Africa to find the ultimate 'World's Best' in each category.
DAMAC Tower won two Arabian Property Awards in the categories of "Best High-rise Architecture" and "Best Interior Design," and will now progress to the global awards in London in November. "For DAMAC Tower to be ranked as the best in Arabia, in two of the most important categories, is a significant achievement, particularly as it propels DAMAC Properties to the 'World's Best' finals. This official recognition from a judging panel of distinguished experts is one of the highest endorsements a developer could hope to receive in one of its projects" said Mc Loughlin, Senior Vice President of DAMAC Properties.
It's the fifth year in a row that DAMAC Properties has been successful in the Arabian Property Awards, which aim to recognise the best residential and commercial real estate professionals across the globe. "These are globally recognised accolades of excellence, and the fact that DAMAC Properties is representing Arabia in two categories, is a reflection on our commitment to providing superior quality developments across the Middle East and beyond" Mr Mc Loughlin added.
DAMAC Tower was launched in June and is the first exclusive VERSACE Home branded residential tower in the region. Situated in the elite marina area of the new Solidere development in Beirut, DAMAC Tower has extensive views of the Mediterranean. The spectacular flowing curves and undulating volumes of the 28 storey building were designed to emulate the surging waves of the ocean. "DAMAC Tower is a majestic development which strikes a balance between technology and luxury without compromising on style and aesthetic appeal. This innovative collaboration between DAMAC Properties and VERSACE Home will deliver to residents the luxurious Italian lifestyle concept" McLoughlin said.
DAMAC Tower will feature spacious private units resplendent with custom designed interiors. All the common areas including the health and fitness facilities, the concierge reception, and the main lobby will feature VERSACE Home products. "DAMAC Properties' partnership with VERSACE, the worldrenowned Italian fashion house synonymous with glamour and luxury, defined the interiors of DAMAC Tower. The shared vision of the two companies has combined to deliver the most prestigious and sought-after property in Beirut" said Mr Mc Loughlin "and now that DAMAC Tower has been recognised as being one of the most outstanding developments in the world, interest in this project is likely to come from much further afield" he added.
