Buy a Property During DSF, Get a Lamborghini, BMW or Mini

In the tradition of extravagant promotions during the Dubai Shopping Festival, luxury developer DAMAC Properties is giving away a car with properties purchased during the month-long festival.

While DAMAC Properties is renowned for staging some of Dubai’s most elaborate promotions, including giving away luxury apartments and even a private jet, the developer has not had a promotion on this scale since the onset of the financial crisis in 2008.

“This isn’t a gimmick, there’s no catch, it’s a simple consumer promotion aimed at driving sales by adding value. You buy a property in Dubai, you get a car” said Niall Mc Loughlin, Senior Vice President of DAMAC Properties.

Unlike some businesses, which during the downturn reneged on offers and prizes awarded amid the peak of the market, DAMAC Properties has honoured its commitments to customers. Last year alone, DAMAC Properties gave away several luxury apartments to prize winners, who’d won them at the height of Dubai’s property boom.

The make and model of the car given to each buyer is contingent on the value of the property, although it is possible to get a BMW with some 1-bedroom apartments. The Lamborghinis are reserved for penthouse apartments within DAMAC Properties’ premium developments, including Ocean Heights, Burjside Boulevard and DAMAC Heights. 

All cars will be delivered to the showroom in Dubai, and allowing for ordering and delivery times can be collected as soon as July, 2012. 

“We have a range of quality residential, commercial and retail properties in Dubai which already offer phenomenal value, but with the added bonus of coming with a brand new, free car, we expect our sales to increase well during the DSF as people take up our extraordinary offer” Mc Loughlin commented.

To tie in with the shopping festival, DAMAC Properties has stands at Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre and at JBR on Fridays and Saturdays. At the mall locations, as well as the DAMAC’s sales office at Ocean Heights in Dubai Marina, people will be able to enquire about the developer’s range of available apartments, and the type of car that comes with them.

The promotion comes as DAMAC Properties registers the strongest demand in three years across its range of premium developments at Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai and the DIFC.

“Demand for quality properties in Dubai is already strengthening, so we are very excited about the additional effect that giving away a brand new car will have on buyer behavior” Mc Loughlin mused.
