Duties / Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of this job is to fulfill an internal requirement.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES

- Attend site inspections with the main contractors & Interior Design subcontractors.
- Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and updated as the client’s representative.
- Review all inspection reports for compliance.
- Coordinate with the supplier, site engineers & Interior Design Project Manager’s for the resolution of problems.
- Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices and the customers contract specializations.
- To adhere to the defined inspection test plan as per the projects requirements.
- Completion of QC site instructions and coordinate their closure. Review of inspection test packages during the course of construction activities.

Education

- Degree qualification in Engineering or Architecture

Experience

- Preparation of project manual, QC plan, work instruction and format for inspections
- Conducting QC meetings with Subcontractors on a weekly basis
- Issuing NCRs(Non Conformance Report) when not conforming to standards
- Fit Out/ Joinery and FF&E(Separate requirements – looking at Fit Out Specialists & Joinery/FF&E specialists)

Skills

Functional & Technical Skills

- Preparation of ITP, RFI & RFIA and Handling the Submissions and Approvals with the Consultants
- Preparation of Material Inspections (MIR) and conducting the inspections in accordance with the Quality Standards
