Duties / Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of this job is to fulfill an internal requirement.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES

- Coordinate with Design Director and Senior/ Project Designer following initial client briefing to interpret Design Brief and establish Mood boards
- Working alongside Design Director to develop FF&E programming schedule/s
- Production of full FF&E presentation boards and finishes.
- To continually upgrade the library with new up to date information and update schedules of suppliers and ensure the database is updated.
- To prepare Sample boards in conjunction with the design team.
- To assist the Design Team in choosing the appropriate FF&E items from the Library in consultation with the Interior Design team.
- Prepare and coordinate all FF&E documentation required for Tender and Construction issues.
- Close liaison with the FF&E Project Manager & ID Project Team to ensure the project is coordinated between the FF&E information and the Contractors information.

Education

- Graduate in Interior Design/ Architecture

Experience

- Experience in the Hospitality design sector, must have worked with leading hotel design consultancies or major Fit out companies in the MENA region.
- Detailed knowledge of suppliers, manufacturers and products available in the world marketplace.
- Strong involvement in overall design concept and successful in reading what design goals a client requires from initial briefing.
- Successful in delivering, managing FF&E selections and procurement on time and within budget & coordination with the procurement team.

Skills

Functional & Technical Skills

- Extremely good technical knowledge of FF&E items and manufacturing
- Good understanding of operational requirements, which has been gained through exposure to many hotel operators, designers & projects.

Behavioral Skills

- Ability to work on several projects concurrently
- Ability to work well in a team
