Duties / Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of the position is to be responsible for MEP across our existing and future projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES
-To lead a team of Electrical/Mechanical engineers.
-Prepare and present plans for high profile projects.
-Manage and direct consultants and support services to meet required schedules and objectives.
-Maintain and manage budgets and financial expenditures associated with the MEP elements of the project.
-Provide leadership to MEP team members.
-Prepare tight scope of work documents for the selection and engagement of consultants and contractors.
-Ensure timely authority submittals and approvals for all MEP works.
-To ensure cost efficient design meeting forecasted budgets.
-To apply value engineering approach wherever possible.

Education

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
-15 - 18 years experience in MEP and experience in gulf region is a must.
-Experience in managing MEP engineering for high rise residential projects is essential.

Experience

-Must have worked with a reputed contractor or consultant.
-Must have in-depth understanding of commercial side of the MEP business.
