Duties / Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of this job is to set up, review and audit the role of the external supervision consultants and to ensure that the quality achieved on all the projects are matching Damac targeted quality of end product.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES

-Develop the required systems; build up the required teams and systematic approach of supervision and quality management processes to ensure that both contractors and consultants are achieving the best performance.
-Lead the dedicated team for each group of similar projects covering all project technical aspects including MEP, structural, architectural and interior design.
-The role will include the development of state of the art inspection processes, testing & commissioning protocol, material selection approval system etc.

Education

-Architectural or engineering degree from a recognized international university.

Experience

-20-25 years of experience with at least 12 of it in supervision and quality management of top quality resorts and hotel projects. A track record of delivering such projects is a must.
-Hands on experience in supervision and testing and commissioning and handover of mega projects.
-Preferably PMP or equivalent qualification and / or training.
-A good knowledge of cost planning, scheduling, change management, contract conditions (FIDIC based).
-A good knowledge of construction method and techniques.
-High level of people skills and human capital management.
-A good knowledge of QA /QC approach
